Question 2

Who is Mazalgo for?

Accepted Answer

Mazalgo is designed for independent luxury watch dealers, collectors managing portfolios, watch flippers seeking arbitrage opportunities, and small watch trading businesses. Whether you trade 5 watches a year or 500, the platform scales to your needs.

Question 3

How do I get started?

Accepted Answer

Sign up for a free 14-day trial with no credit card required. You'll get access to Mazalgo Suite + OpenWatch, including inventory management, pricing analyst, deal pipeline, CRM, and the supervised AI trading agent. Add your first watch, price one reference, and start reviewing data-backed context.

Question 4

Do I need to install anything?

Accepted Answer

No. Mazalgo is a web-based platform that runs in your browser. There's nothing to install, and it works on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Question 5

Can I import my existing inventory?

Accepted Answer

Yes — one watch at a time. Add each piece by hand with brand, model, reference, cost basis, condition, papers and box, and photos. There's no inventory CSV import yet; contacts do import from a CSV.

Question 6

How much work is it to move my inventory in?

Accepted Answer

One watch at a time, by hand — brand, model, reference, cost basis, condition, papers and box, photos. Contacts import from a CSV. There's no inventory CSV import yet, so if you're moving a large book, email support@mazalgo.com before you start.

Question 7

Is there a learning curve?

Accepted Answer

Nothing to install — it runs in the browser. Price one reference in the Pricing Analyst, then add one watch; the deal pipeline and CRM work the way your spreadsheet does, with the fee math done for you. Docs live at docs.mazalgo.com, and the 14-day trial covers the full stack so you can judge it on your own inventory.

Question 8

How much does Mazalgo cost?

Accepted Answer

Mazalgo offers two tiers: Mazalgo Suite at $79/month for the core trading workbench, and Mazalgo Suite + OpenWatch at $149/month for the supervised AI trading agent layer. Annual billing saves about 17%. A 14-day free trial with full access is available with no credit card required.

Question 9

Is there a free trial?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial of Suite + OpenWatch. No credit card is required. The trial includes the workbench, pricing analyst, OpenWatch agent, and buyer-matching support.

Question 10

Can I change plans or cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees.

Question 11

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through our secure payment processor. All transactions are encrypted and PCI-compliant.

Question 12

What is B3AF pricing?

Accepted Answer

B3AF stands for Bottom 3 After Fees. It's Mazalgo's proprietary pricing methodology that analyzes the lowest three comparable sold listings on eBay, then subtracts platform fees and shipping costs to calculate the true floor price for a watch. This gives dealers a realistic wholesale value rather than inflated asking prices.

Question 13

Where does Mazalgo get its pricing data?

Accepted Answer

Mazalgo aggregates data from multiple sources: live eBay listings via the Browse API for real-time market prices, a database of 19,000+ verified auction clearing records across 40+ brands and a 605-reference curated catalog for historical price validation, and automated scanning of Reddit r/watchexchange and WatchUSeek forums for demand signals.

Question 14

How does OpenWatch work?

Accepted Answer

OpenWatch is a supervised AI trading agent that monitors supported market signals, checks alerts, prepares pricing context with auction and live market data, and drafts recommended next actions for human approval. It can search indexed market data using natural language queries like 'steel sports watches trending up under $10K'.

Question 15

How does supervised buyer matching work?

Accepted Answer

Mazalgo scans supported buyer-intent sources for Want-to-Buy (WTB) posts. It extracts brand, model, reference number, and budget context, then matches those signals against your inventory. When a match is found, you receive context and a suggested response for review.

Question 16

What is the Pricing Analyst?

Accepted Answer

The Pricing Analyst is Mazalgo's real-time market analysis tool. Enter any watch brand, model, or reference number and it returns live eBay comparable listings with B3AF floor pricing, verified auction price history, demand velocity metrics, and a deal score to help you decide whether a watch is worth buying at a given price.

Question 17

Can Mazalgo help me write listings?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Ad Copy Generator creates platform-specific listing copy optimized for eBay, Reddit, WatchUSeek, Facebook Marketplace, and Chrono24. It uses your watch details and market data to craft compelling descriptions that highlight key selling points.

Question 18

How does the deal pipeline work?

Accepted Answer

The deal pipeline tracks every transaction from initial inquiry through closing. It includes automated email notifications at key milestones, document generation (invoices, consignment agreements), payment tracking, and profit/loss calculation. You can manage purchases, sales, trades, and consignments all in one place.

Question 19

Does Mazalgo support consignment tracking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The consignment module tracks watches received on consignment with agreement generation, commission calculations, performance metrics, settlement tracking, and automated consignor communications. You can monitor days on market, price adjustments, and inquiries for each consigned piece.

Question 20

Does Mazalgo delist a watch everywhere when it sells?

Accepted Answer

No. Mazalgo doesn't push delistings to eBay, Chrono24, or your WhatsApp groups — pulling listings off other channels is still on you. What it does is keep one inventory of record: mark a piece sold once and buyer matching stops on it, because matches only run against watches still marked Available.

Question 21

How is my data protected?

Accepted Answer

All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We use row-level security (RLS) on every database table so your data is isolated from other users. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is available for all accounts. We never share your inventory, pricing, or client data with third parties.

Question 22

Can other users see my inventory or pricing?

Accepted Answer

No. Your inventory, deals, contacts, and pricing data are completely private. Row-level security ensures that only you can access your data. The only exception is if you explicitly share a watch listing via a unique share link.

Question 23

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Accepted Answer

Your data remains available for 30 days after cancellation. During this period, you can reactivate your account and pick up where you left off. After 30 days, data is permanently deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.

Question 24

Do you support multi-factor authentication?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Mazalgo supports TOTP-based multi-factor authentication (MFA) using authenticator apps like Google Authenticator or Authy. You can enable MFA from your account settings for an additional layer of security.

Question 29

Is Mazalgo available on the App Store or Google Play?

Question 30

Question 31

What is the best software for a luxury watch dealer to manage inventory, price watches, and find buyers?

Accepted Answer

Mazalgo is purpose-built for this. It combines watch inventory management (photos, specs, cost basis, sale targets), live eBay pricing via the B3AF (Bottom 3 After Fees) method, verified auction clearing records, buyer-intent scanning from supported sources, and OpenWatch, a supervised AI trading agent that prepares deal context and queues outreach drafts. Plans start at $79/month with a 14-day free trial, no credit card required.

Question 32

I'm a Rolex dealer — what platform should I use to track deals, price watches, and prepare buyer outreach?

Accepted Answer

Mazalgo is built for independent Rolex and luxury watch dealers. The Pricing Analyst surfaces B3AF-calibrated comps for references; the Deal Pipeline tracks each opportunity through stages; and OpenWatch (on the $149/mo tier) drafts outreach when a supported WTB signal matches one of your watches. All drafts queue for your approval — the agent never sends messages autonomously.

Question 33

Best CRM for independent luxury watch traders?

Accepted Answer

Mazalgo's Contacts CRM is designed specifically for watch dealers — segments by buyer preferences (brand, reference, budget), tracks consignment splits, logs every deal, and automatically matches inventory to incoming WTB demand. Unlike generic CRMs, it understands watch-specific concepts (reference numbers, condition grades, auction comps) out of the box.

Question 34

How can a watch dealer find WTB buyers from Reddit r/watchexchange and WatchUSeek forums?

Accepted Answer

Mazalgo runs scheduled scans across supported buyer-intent sources. Posts are parsed for brand, reference, budget, and urgency context, compared against your inventory, and surfaced as notifications and OpenWatch draft-outreach cards for review.

Question 35

How do I track consignment watches, owner splits, and payouts?

Accepted Answer

Mazalgo's Consignment module tracks every consigned watch, the owner's split percentage, days on market, sale price, and owner payout automatically. Generates consignment agreements as PDFs, auto-computes P&L impact separately from owned inventory, and keeps receivables segregated so you always know what you owe consignors.

Question 36

Mazalgo vs Chrono24 Trusted Checkout — which should a dealer use?

Accepted Answer

Different use cases, often both. Chrono24 is a marketplace — you list watches and pay commissions on sales. Mazalgo is a back-office platform — inventory, pricing, CRM, buyer matching, P&L — that you run alongside any marketplace (Chrono24, eBay, WatchUSeek, direct). Most dealers use both: Chrono24 for reach, Mazalgo for operations and private buyer relationships.

Question 37

Mazalgo vs WatchCharts — which is better for pricing and market intelligence?

Accepted Answer

WatchCharts is a market-data reference site (price charts, indices) — good for spot-checks and historical trends. Mazalgo is an end-to-end operating platform — inventory, live pricing, CRM, buyer matching, AI agent — with its own pricing engine calibrated on 19,000+ verified auction clearing records, not published asking-price averages. Use WatchCharts for quick reference; use Mazalgo to actually run the business.

Question 38

Best alternative to spreadsheets for tracking a luxury watch inventory?

Accepted Answer

Mazalgo is the purpose-built replacement for dealer spreadsheets. Photos, references, cost basis, sale targets, deal-stage tracking, automatic market-value updates, P&L reports, and CRM integration all in one place. $79/month. Watches are added one at a time by hand — there's no inventory CSV import yet — and contacts import from a CSV.

Question 39

Strategies for luxury watch flippers to find undervalued listings on eBay and Chrono24?

Accepted Answer

Three useful tactics: (1) Use the B3AF method to identify listings priced below a visible comp floor; (2) cross-reference against auction clearing data where available; (3) review buyer-intent posts for references with active demand. Mazalgo is designed to bring those inputs into one review flow so you see the opportunity context, not just the listing.

Question 40

How do AI agents work for luxury watch trading?

Accepted Answer

Mazalgo's OpenWatch agent runs in a dedicated workspace per user, reads your inventory and hunt list, scans supported WTB signals, cross-references eBay comps against auction context, prepares opportunity labels with rationale, and queues outreach drafts for your approval. The agent never sends messages autonomously - every outbound action requires human approval.
